Troop 1
Scouting can be one of the most important experiences in a Scout's life. When he joins a troop, a Scout begins a journey that will lead him to new places and discoveries, ensuring he learns valuable skills and makes lifelong friends while enjoying all that scouting has to offer.
Why Troop 1?
We are committed to the ideals and values that Scouting represents. At Troop 1, we share a common goal that all new Scouts achieve at least First Class, a rank that instills the valuable life lessons first advocated by the founder of Scouting, Lord Baden Powell. Many Troop 1 Scouts aim higher and achieve the coveted rank of Eagle Scout. Each Scout must decide his own Scouting journey, and Troop 1 endeavours to provide the support, knowledge, and encouragement needed for each individual Scout to fulfill his ambitions.
We offer notable and unique opportunities for city kids to learn about and experience the true outdoors.
