TroopTrack
When a Scout joins Troop 1, an account is created for that Scout and his family on TroopTrack, a software platform that helps us manage the troop’s activities, members, and records. TroopTrack also allows you to track your Scout’s advancement through ranks and merit badges. TroopTrack can be accessed through your web browser or with Android and Apple apps.

Girls in Scouting
The American Legion Tattler Post welcomes girls to be part of Scouting America’s experience. Youth from kindergarten to 5th grade are welcome to join Pack 3079. Our girls’ troop, Troop 606, officially kicked off in February 2019 and offers the same Scouting program as the boys, with campouts, outdoor activities, and rank advancement for girls 6th grade and up, To learn more, feel free to attend Troop 606 meetings held the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7 p.m. at Park Community Church (1001 N. Crosby Street) or contact Troop 606 administration at chicagotroop606@gmail.com.
Financial Aid Information
Scholarships are available to provide life-changing camping and Scouting experiences for Scouts who cannot participate due to financial circumstances. If your son is interested in applying for a scholarship please contact info@chicagotroop1.com.
